Our building inspections can be for building owners, contractors, builders or other parties to a building dispute, including building disputes with neighbors.
Generally, one of the first things a lawyer or consumer affairs ask for when there is a building dispute is an independent expert technical report on the matter in dispute.

We can assess the building work against the plans and specifications and against relevant standards as applicable and to the levels of quality in the builder's show homes.
Documents useful for building dispute inspections are relevant plans, specifications & contract documents. It is important that the latest approved version of any documentation is available.
Please be aware that we DO NOT "go in to bat" for any side in a building dispute. That would ultimately be unproductive and a waste of money as a biased report can quickly be thrown out by a court.

To proceed, we are quite happy to have an initial informal chat. It can be useful to get all relevant documentation, latest versions where there have been variations, and most importantly, set out clear written instructions on what you want us to inspect and report on.  If there is any other information relevant to the dispute, put it in writing as well.
